From the publisher
Step into the world of esoteric symbolism with the Oswald Wirth Tarot Deck—a 78-card deck that blends traditional Tarot imagery with deep occult teachings. Designed by Swiss occultist Oswald Wirth, this deck offers a unique perspective on the Tarot, incorporating elements of Kabbalah, alchemy, and Freemasonry.
First introduced in 1889, the Oswald Wirth Tarot Deck was created under the guidance of occultist Stanislas de Guaita. Wirth, a prominent figure in the Symbolist and occult movements, sought to infuse the Tarot with deeper mystical meanings. His designs closely follow the Tarot de Marseille tradition but introduce significant modifications, including the addition of Hebrew letters and astrological symbols, to enhance the deck's esoteric depth.
