From the publisher
Introducing The Golden Dawn Tarot Deck — a profound tool that merges the ancient art of tarot with the esoteric teachings of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Designed as a visual gateway into the complexities of the psyche, this deck aids in the process of active imagination, a concept proposed by Carl Jung. Each card serves as a mirror to the unconscious, facilitating self-exploration and personal growth.
The Golden Dawn Tarot Deck comprises 78 cards, including the 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana represent Jungian archetypes of the collective unconscious, while the Minor Arcana depict everyday scenarios and challenges. The court cards are uniquely represented by family roles: father, mother, daughter, and son. The deck's design incorporates archways and circular mandalas, enhancing meditation and introspection.
- Jungian Archetypes: Explore the 22 Major Arcana as representations of universal psychological patterns
- Active Imagination: Engage with the cards to facilitate the process of active imagination and self-discovery
- Symbolic Imagery: Benefit from the deck's use of archways and mandalas to deepen meditation practices
- Family Dynamics: Understand the court cards' depiction of familial roles, offering insights into personal relationships
